As we still recover from over-indulging at Christmas we're not quite ready to be stepping out in our bodycon dresses just yet. Luckily for us, this season vintage and retro styles are still bang on trend, and our favourite at the moment has to be the flattering swing dress. With its loose yet feminine shape, it hides all of your flaws without being too oversized or looking frumpy. Our biggest decision lately is whether to work a plain or patterned style.
Spencer Dogtooth Patterned Swing Dress
The Spencer Dogtooth Patterned Swing Dress has the cute sixties retro vibe down. We're in love with its grey, black, white and red classic dogtooth pattern. For a daytime work look, we've been styling ours with some Chelsea boots to carry on the 60's trend. To dress this up, we would team this with some suede style platform boots for some high heeled goodness. With a messy curled hairdo', add our Felix Bow Detail Floppy Hat and some winged eye-liner to complete your look.
Runa Smock Dress
The Runa Smock Dress is simple, easy style and looks a-mazing. Made from a comfy stretch jersey fabric and in the perfect shade of grey that goes with absolutely anything, we can't get enough of this swing dress. For a low key casual style, pair this dress with some simple buckled boots. Add the cosy Arianna Tartan Print Scarf for the perfect pop of colour. A simple black blazer will add some structure to this outfit, making it girly yet sophisticated at the same time. Don't forget to complete your accessories with the Albany Laser Cut Handbag- this bag comes in four different colours and they all go great with the tones of the grey in this dress.
