As you may have heard, we had a pretty amazing treat for you all last week! Our £1 Dress Collection ran on Friday and Sunday (with a couple of hiccups but we got there!) and boy did we have a bit of a press frenzy. What was this all in aid of I hear you ask? Well IKRUSH launched online in 2012, and since then we have been growing, changing and enjoying every minute of it. We love the culture we have created where we can include our customers in everything we do through social media. We wanted to take this one step further by having a month long birthday celebration this September. Our little treats have included- the £1 Dress Collection, Free Delivery, 20% off and our much talked about Win A Dress A Day Competition. BT gave a mini review putting the price into perspective urging cutomers to ‘pick up one (dress) for less than a price of your morning coffe!’ They seemed pretty keen on the £1 Dress Collection too, challenging their readers with ‘We’ll race you…’. The race certainly was on with the dresses selling out so quickly our website had a little freak-out! Have a look at the full review at BT online.
The Daily Mail Online also noted how good the deal was saying the dresses were ‘definitely worth more than £1’. They totally got what our customers are looking for too agreeing that IKRUSH is perfect for ‘women who want to look good on a budget.’. They also showed off our new promo video, have a look if you haven’t seen it already seen it…
On of our other favourites was super cute mother-daughter styling blog (what a cool idea!). They thought our £1 Dress Collection was ‘marketing genius’, how complementary! They also said there was ‘a style for everyone.’ This is something we try and aim for all the time, not just for promos. IKRUSH believe that every one of our fashionistas is a little bit different, so deserve to find something that they love to suit their own style. Have a look at the Flutter On By blog, they have some great and interesting posts and also offer fashion styling classes!
Womans Own Online also did a review of our £1 Dress Collection. A great place for womanly tips, Womans Own know exactly what every girl needs and think that IKRUSH is a great ‘one stop shop for party essentials!’. When it comes to the collection, they also thought it was a great bargain, seeming pretty excited about getting their dress shopping done. We would be too after all.
IKRUSH wasn’t just online though, we were in print too. How exciting! This image from The Sun was a great full page article about the £1 Dress Collection. Stating that the £1 Dress is an ‘unbeatable deal’ pretty much summed up how we felt too.

Although we loved having our name pretty much everywhere, the best bit about our £1 Dress Collection has definitely been hearing back from plenty of happy customers, despite our website glitches on the day (sorry folks, at least we will know for the next big thing!). Soooo many customers have Tweeted, emailed and Posted on Facebook about their new dresses. This is what makes us happy at the IKRUSH HQ. We encourage our customers to send in pics of them wearing out items their own way. Why not give it a go and we can give you star spotlight on our social media?

Blogger Kirstie tweeted a cute photo of our perfume dress. We love this style, why not check out other tea dresses from IKRUSH. They may not be a £1 Dress but we still have some great prices.
Zelda here got a tip off from Cosmopolitan about our £1 Dresses and after some perseverance became a happy £1 Dress Collection customer. She also cashed in on 20% off on the rest of her order, pretty good going for a Friday morning. Some of the best accessories we saw going out with the dresses were from our collection of winter boots.

Companywere another magazine to give a Twitter tip off for the £1 Dress Collection. Quite the big announcement, no wonder we were so busy!
All the IKRUSH girls at the office were pretty excited about the £1 Dress Collection too. Michelle @IKRUSH_Michelle got herself one of the perfume dresses. Todays out fit is cute but we picked some more items to go with the dress, wearing it a different way.
Try our biker boots with a quilted biker jacket for more of a rocker look. This goes great with loads of other day dresses too! Try your hair sleeked back tight in a high pony to give a preppy meets rock clash.
If your after a night time look we love our 90’s inspired block heels. Perfect for a night out with at just the right height. We team them with a cute patent clutch for heading to the clubs. We need a bag to fit at least our phone money and lippy in.
