As the mornings get lighter, magazine pages fill full of brighter colours, and the weather slowly improves, we can finally say Spring has arrived and Summer will not be far behind it. We have outlined the four biggest trends of the season so far and shown you how to wear them. For us, the best thing about the pastel trend is that you can mix it with other trends, such as prints and embellishment, and you can mix the pastel colours amongst themselves because they are so subtle.

However if you do not fancy quite as much pastel, why not take the fluffy coloured accessories shown here, and team them with a navy or black dress. They are like sports jackets, with zips, with floral and quirky patterns, and they are not particularly well-fitted - it all seems so all over the place, yet it works so well. The bomber jacket embraces 'no rules' to what matches it and what doesn't. Does that mean we can get ready super fast in the morning and call it good style? Think so. It survived it's way through winter in knit form and now it is back shorter and cooler than ever this Spring season. Predictably some say abs are an issue for wearing this trend, but us fashion-savvy gals know that abs do not have to be an issue. A high waisted pair of shorts or a skirt, just like Kylie Jenner's, mean you do not have to show a lot of skin, and can still rock the trend as good as anyone. Another idea is to drape a chiffon shirt over a crop top, which as layers always do, looks effortless and cool. The cropped denim sleeveless jacket will work well over a dress or playsuit, allowing you to embrace the crop top trend in a more alternative way. Simple cropped tees are good to keep to wear under jumpers, with high-waisted items and tucked into pencil skirts - they aren't too heavy on and they fit more flattering than everyday t-shirts.
