New season: Make up
At IKRUSH HQ we like to stay on top of the trends, and our growing beauty department is doing a good job of it. This post will introduce you to all our new eye and lip products that can be worn with different skin tones and hair colours, casually or on a night out.
It's in the eyes...
Create red carpet volume with blacker than black mascara. To create a natural and clean cut look, try only applying mascara to your top lashes. This technique will make your eyes look much bigger in size, and keeps a heavy made-up eye looking natural and tidy. Don't worry about your bottom eyelashes as they will darken throughout the day, when some of the top eyelash mascara rubs onto them. Recommended by IKRUSH: Laval Ultra Lash Mascara, Rimmel Sexy Curves Full Volume Mascara, Maybelline Mascara Great Lash Blackest.
Maybelline Silk Glam Eyestudio and Maybelline Eyestudio Mono Eyeshadow are the products you need to create a smokey eye look. Coming in a range of shades these eye shadows can be mixed with other colours, and also can be applied on the eyelid and the bottom lashes to give a bolder look.
With mascara and eyeshadow in the bag, the only other thing you need for stand out eye make up is a good liquid or pen eyeliner. The W7 Automatic Eyeliner Pen is easy apply to the upper eyelid in one straight line,
Lauren Conrad and
Jade Thirlwall style.
It's in the kiss...
When getting all dressed up, we at IKRUSH HQ admit to not feeling 100% ready until the lippy is on. If you haven't tried lipliner before, this is your chance because it makes such a difference to how your lips look and how long your gloss will stay on for. The Stila Glaze Lip Liner comes in a range of shades, so matter what colour of gloss or lipstick you go for you'll be able to wear the right liner. The new Rimmel Stay Glossy Lip Gloss is thick enough to last a few hours and subtle enough to ensure it doesn't take over your whole face. With the use of liner, your lip gloss will look neat, super shiny and very kissable.
