The Grab Bag- Why Weekly Love.
You know our weekly love blog has never included this kind of thing before- Not a bag, satchel or purse has passed the weekly love doors. So this week our brand new grab bag (which comes in four gorgeous colours) is getting the spotlight and getting some love too. Another big reason is that it has genuinely received loads of office love. The girls at the IKRUSH HQ are all signing up for the grab bag and talking about how they would wear each colour. So we thought, why not get all our reader and customers involved too!
The Grab Bag- An Outfit For Every Colour.
Seeing as we love our grab bag in all four colours we thought it’s only right to give you four outfit ideas, one for every colour of grab bag. We also have a look for each occasion, aren’t we just spoiling you for choice! Bags are an important part of any outfit, especially during the day, I mean who doesn’t carry their life in their bags? We certainly have everything and the kitchen sink crammed in there (poor bags, so abused!). Our first look is to match our brown grab bag which we team with matching brown knee high boots for a touch of chic to an outfit that’s Sunday comfy ready. We love an excuse to laze about in jeans at the weekend and think that our ripped jeans can give this with an added bit of on trend inspiration. Another comfy but fashion forward part of your look could come from our leopard print cardigan in an oversized style. There is nothing better than getting warmed up in knitwear. Layer up with this red casual long sleeved top for an on trend colour choice that’s wallet friendly. If that look didn’t really work the handbags during the day thing for you then why not try something a bit more… Unusual? We love a bit of a colour pop and think the turquoise grab bag is just the thing for getting that stand out colour pop your looking for. We love this bag so much we just had to Instagram and Tweet about it… Loving the Instagram filter.

We go for some celebrity inspired street style with our Diamond Dope Sweatshirt. The celebs are loving a good printed sweatshirt right now and what a better choice than an easy to wear black sweatshirt with white print. It will go with almost anything! We wear it with a chiffon shirt underneath to give the street look a cuter edge. Why not team with our burgundy bomber jacket for a colour clash that will be sure to make you stand out? Moving onto something a bit more dressy (yay we can do our hair all pretty!) we though working the cream grab bag gave this office or dinner outfit a great finishing touch. Oh and what’s that? We have amazingly on trend heels in the same colour? Combo bonus on this one girls… The cutout heels have a totally edgy vibe to them and are ticking the trend boxes with the cutout heel and a geometric style. These accessories are great but certainly don’t make a full outfit. Our tartan pencil skirt is a good place to start when building an outfit for versatility. Wear it with our cream sleeveless top with a silky finish and black piping to give a more sophisticated edge. We love layering right now (how could we not, it’s getting pretty chilly out there…) and for topping this look off we’re pretty sure you couldn’t get any better than our black bomber jacket which can give a more casual edge to such a lady like outfit. Our final outfit is for a night out, our fav type of outfit to pick! When it comes to going out and getting the party look right, every girl needs a good black bag. Our black grab bag is a much better option for a night out, with extra room for all your goodies (more on these later). We love our new leather panel bodycon dress with quilted detailing and a built in necklace. If you don’t like the white, we have it in red too! Another new in love we have is for our peep toe wedges which are great for a night out as there is no need to teeter in super thin heels. Just in case you didn’t already know about our beauty range we thought we would give you some options for how to get ready. Our purple false nail set is a great choice to team with a monochrome outfit for a touch of colour. We also love our false eyelashes which are super natural for that oh so flutterable lash line.
The Grab Back- Handbags Have To Be Full.
As we said before, your hand bag has GOT to be chock full. I mean every girl has essentials that get her through their day. We don’t know where men put it all, well unless they are like Joey and love their man bags. Friends flashback time…
Anyhoo… Back to business with the bags have to be full thing. At IKRUSH we have a few staple things that need to go in our bags, most importantly on a night out. Here are a few of our top items to that we all keep by our sides (and in our new grab bag…). Up first we have the oh so essential spare set of false nails. If your going for a simpler look our french manicure nails are a great option and come with 24 nails, so you might as well bring them out in case you loose one. A spare set of lashes can also be a good idea and with the katy perry false lashes you’ll be sure to get the look your after. Celebrity style here we come. Oh and you’ll be needing some extra eyelash adhesive too. No one wants to get papped with one lash falling off, never a good look. Your make- up brush may seem like an obvious choice but we though a little reminder might be good, seeing as one IKRUSH girl got caught out with a shiny face this weekend, no names sorry we did promise. Try our blusher brush to give you a light covering. One Twitter user has had some problems with her make-up bag never mind her handbag. We feel you! Girl problems indeed!

Aside from beauty there is one thing we always wish that we could fit into our bags and with our grab bag we might just be able to squeeze them in. That’s right, flats are a must for being able to achieve all the after night out tasks. These plain black dolly shoes will get you from the chip shop to the taxi and quite possibly up your driveway too, so long as you haven’t lost one by then. Oh, we almost forgot. Don’t forget your purse. Bouncers don’t like it when your purse (and incidentally your ID/ money) are MIA. Have a look at our purses for another little treat from you to you.
