Why Leopard Print Is Here To Stay
So, after having a season long love affair with leopard print we thought that the relationship was bound to be getting cut off as we come into spring summer.
We thought wrong. For once being wrong is a good thing though as we get to hang on to all our animal print goodies and wear them the summer way. This girls, means you can work one of the S/S14 trends already. Talk about staying ahead of the curve right?
Leopard Print On The Runway.
With this animalistic vibe going on we let out our inner hunter and tracked down our top leopard print picks from the catwalks. One designers take made us think twice about leopard print. Leopard print can sometimes have a bad rep, with pat butcher to thank for it. Fling in some other elements though and your onto a winner. Antonio Berardi made leopard print shine with a metallic touch and some great shapes. For us, the skirt and the jacket really stood out as staple wardrobe pieces.
Another one for adding an unusual touch was Temperly London. Ever a fan of all things feminine, Temperly London mixed leopard print with florals and long flowing shapes. This came both in the form of individual pieces such as the leopard coat and floral dress and working the two prints into the one garment. The latter of the two creates a stunning design, especially in the purple hue (left).
The third designer took a, well much more outlandish approach. We loved the two tone suit with both leopard print and zebra print. Although not the most wearable piece, it was certainly a stand out part of the show. In a more ready to wear vibe we loved the leopard print polo shirt worn with casual bottoms. This sort of contrast is easier to create in your own day to day style. Heavy patterns next to casual and simple fabrics looks amazing no matter what you wear!

floaty chiffon crop top to create that contrast in shape. The slim leg looks great with a softer top half, elongating the legs. Accessorise with the
silver gem stone flower necklace to create that feminine versus animal vibe. Finish it off with some great footwear and work the
platform peep toe wedges to complete this party ready but simple outfit.
