Halloween Events- No Matter Where You Are.

    Halloween can be a bit of a tricky one, can't it? Your never quite sure where to go or for that matter who to go with. Will it be something genuinely scary you partake in our will you opt for a fun and cheesy disco? Not only that but you also have to think of a costume that is sexy but not overly so, witty, unique and actually wearable. One us us once went as Titanic, like the boat. Yeah not too easy to dance in. Todays blog is here to save the day for at least one of these problems though. The location. We have looked at events from city to city (not all cities but a fair few) and picked out some of the best, some of the most unusual and some of the downright cheesy fun Halloween events just for you lot! So have a look and see if your city is holding something you might love. If not then why not travel to one of these amazing events and party it out tourist style?  

Halloween Events- Glasgow

When it comes to partying, the good people of Glasgow do it, and do it well. There may be a list as long as your arm in terms of Halloween Events in Glasgow but not fear (pun intended) the IKRUSH girls have picked out an amazing location to get you in a spooky mood. The Arches, an underground, dark, brick walled venue which has proven in the past to be an amazing Halloween night out. We once went to an Alice and Wonderland night here on Halloween and it was super creepy and pretty disorientating… This year they are holding a Pressure night to please all their trick or treaters. Pressure is a semi regular event ran at The Arches with some of the best deep house and techno around. Set list includes Ben Klock, DVS1, Slam and Sebo K. Halloween Events- Edinburgh

  Edinburgh also offered quite a mix of music and dancing for Halloween events. We decided though to give Scotland a different option for a different city with a Murder Mystery Night at one of Edinburgh’s most enchanting locations… The Ghillie Dhu, for all you non Scots out there that’s Gaelic for faerie. The event is based around the Sorority Coven meeting, an apparently 2000 year old tradition. Ohh how witchy. The event is being ran by Blue Murder Events and with an in depth back story, the Sorority event held in the ‘enchanted’ auditorium is set to be quite the entertaining night. So you’ll have canapés and bubbly on arrival then a 3 course meal with entertainment, also the Ghillie Dhu is a great venue for dancing the night away! £39.95pp  

Halloween Events- Manchester

Another city full of amazing Halloween events, Manchester has a lot to offer and with a huge array of clubs with some amazing reviews, it took us a while to pick which one we would go for. It had to be something that would stand out, not just your usual lets get drunk, put on some face paint and head to any old club. So we chose the Rocky Horror Show tribute at Manch235ter. If you haven’t seen the movie, you probably won’t be too keen, despite the origional theatre show not doing too well,  the low budget film became a huge cult success. You’ll have to get your hands on a copy before you go then, won't you? Tim Curry as a space travelling transvestite and a cameo appearance from meatloaf. Yeah you definitely need to watch it. The event has 5 entertainers all playing tribute to the main characters from the film. In a glamorous Vegas style venue you’ll be sure to be dazzled by the entertainment and even more dazzled by your surroundings. With a two course meal and an after show DJ set going onto the wee hours you really ought to just time warp your way through Halloween… Well 26^th of October but you get the drift. £39pp

Halloween Events- London

Even if your a girlie girl we think there is something completely different waiting for you in London. It may be a city chock full of Halloween events but for something that will literally terrify you, why not check out 2.8 hours later? The up and coming event is running loads of dates around the Halloween period. Not heard of it before? Basically it’s a game. A game played around the city. A game where you  get chased by Zombies while you play it. Doesn’t sound like your cup of tea? Why not get a big group together (this is one that will please the guys and keep the girls hearts racing btw.) and enjoy the zombie disco that will take place after your game? The adrenaline from running for your life mixed with disco lights and cocktails is sure to be a heady mix. You don’t even have to worry about a Halloween costume, you’ll be ‘turned’ into a zombie if your unlucky enough to get ‘bitten’. Still not convinced? Have a look at the trailer below, it’s almost like a real horror movie!    

Halloween Events- Newcastle

If your not too into Halloween Newcastle might be the best place for you. Especially if you’re a fan of Russle Brand… The comedian has chosen to perform his Messiah Complex in Newcastle City Hall on the 31^st of October. So for a bit of comedy fun, why not book yourself a ticket and if your feeling up to facing the horror of Halloween night out it’s only a short walk to the nearest club. If you are however a fan of both Russel Brand and Halloween why not do both and dress up for the show? We recommend not dressing up as anything to do with the theme of the show however. Don’t want our IKRUSh girls causing offence on their night out! Why not go as Brand himself? Or be a bit cheeky and go as Katy Perry, It would be a sure fire way to have him pick on you if he can see you from the stage. £27.50 One lucky comedy lover in America even got to meet the man himself. Halloween Events- What We’ll Be Doing.

Well we are not quite sure yet, but there will be a few tricks and treats up our sleeve for our IKRUSH followers this Halloween. The question is though how big a treat will it be?
