Hair Trend To Watch, The Extreme Partings.
It’s hard to follow a hair trend if say, it’s dyeing it bright blue or... Going for an allover number one. Those are hard to pull off at times, and hats off to those who manage it! One great hair trend emerging from behind the scenes of this seasons catwalks is extreme partings. Yip, it’s that simple and no matter which of todays looks you go for, you'll be sure to part the crowds with a no commitment needed change.
First lets have a look at the side partings hair trend. This look is pretty easy to work, and for those growing out a fringe can be a great help through the awkward stages. At Lanvin
(Left) a grungy feel was created with a low pony and side parting, slightly disheveled and teamed with plum lips. Woven leather designs
(Centre) gave a somewhat larger than life approach with lots of curl and volume through the ends and a flat topped side parting, this looked great with red lips. Wet look is something of a controversial trend for coming into winter. We're not quite sure of the practicality of leaving the house with wet hair, even if it did look amazing on the runway
(Right).
Centre partings took things in a more dramatic direction, drawing attention to every feature, which is great for stand out beauty looks. On the catwalk
(Left) long poker straight locks gave this hair trend an almost 70’s feel. One we will definitely be trying this season. Cavalli was another designer to opt for the wet look, creating sleek but bold lines. We love a bit of a retro vibe and at Dolce and Gabbana thats exactly what we got! One to work your way girls, go for a low but neat beehive with a tucked to the sides centre parting. Try out red lips and eye flicks too!
Several designers went for the slicked back look. Forget your parting was ever there in the first place! If your brave enough this can take you from day to night with ease and also get you through those much hated between wash days. Ideal! Why not have a look at our New In
Section, see if any of our amazing new items will look great with your fav style?
