Why Furry Handbags Make The Grade.
Well, we like to think that anything that’s fluffy and warm is great for winter, even if it’s a handbag and it’s not actually keeping you warm… It’s the thought that counts right? Not only that but we like the idea of a handbags with a bit of texture rather than say plain handbags. Whether it’s satchel handbags, simple black handbags or bold red handbags, a touch of fur can change a boring bag into a brilliant one. We all know that handbags can be expensive, especially here in the UK but at IKRUSH we try to change that. Ladies you won’t need to hunt through handbags that are on sale when searching for an online bargain! Each handbag shown today is only £14.99. There, my friends, is the reason you really need to read on… It’s not just because we want handbags that are different though. We have kind of fallen in love with fur this season. The animal friendly kind, of course… Here’s our top reasons as to why. Numero uno…This has been a long standing reason. The Olsen twins. They have shown their love for fur for years with everything from handbags… to fur stoles. According to the above video, they also found their love of fashion when working on the set of Full House… Who knew? Yep, not only do we love their overall style, brand image and general air of coolness, we love their love of fur. We also noticed that their brand has some cute fur handbags of it’s own… Pitty about the designer price tag though huh?

Reason two, as if we actually need more, is the amount of celebs who have been sporting fur waistcoats this season. We just had to pop another Olsen twin pic in here, although we’re not to sure which one it is but she still looks fab! We also loved Olivia Palermo’s look with some OTT sunnies and a chic bag. Pretty much the perfect day wear look. Jessica Alba also sported the look opting for a sleeker finish giving off a preppy vibe. We love her day to day style and this interview totally summed it up for us. We so agree with her on how to style a little black dress. She’s a bit more organised than us though… check out why! We loved all three looks but the problem is that not everyone suits a furry waistcoat. Some of the girls at the IKRUSH office are moaning about being too small, too big or even (and I quote) too grungy for a fur waistcoat. So we think that handbags may be the way to go for getting some fur in your life. Our final reason has to be that we have other awesome faux fur items at IKRUSH that are in need of some furry friends (and not the stuffed toy kind of friends). We think that going all out on the fur can not only be a great way to keep cosy but will look totally stylish too. Going OTT on the fur accessories might just be our next favourite thing. You won’t need to trail through old vintage fur coats for your fix of fur this season…

Some IKRUSH Furry Handbags.
So what furry handbags does IKRUSH have in store for you? Well we have picked 5 gorgeous bags for you out of quite a few choices, that’s what. Top left is the Galda fur messenger bag in tan, bottom left the Galina fur messenger bag in black, top right is the Galina fur messenger bag in maroon and bottom right is the Galda fur messenger bag in black. What about the centre one? Well that’s our fav of course! The Berit fur and leather tote bag is definitely the chicest of the lot and we have a gorgeous look for you to try with it! We love all our handbags but these fur detail ones are top of the accessory shopping list this season.
How To Wear Furry Handbags
When it comes to styling our IKRUSH furry handbags, we think that a smart casual day look is the best option for the messenger style bags. Our first style takes the maroon Galina bag and creates a quirky look with a slightly preppy edge. We have fallen in love with our leopard print shift dress and when teamed with the quilted biker boots are a perfect option for during the day (you can even wear with some fleece lined leggings for the coldest of days…). We layer with our fav bomber jacket for a casual look with a bit of an edge. The khaki in the jacket will really complement the maroon messenger bag too! We decided that the same bag in black needed a different twist. Wear with our leatherette sleeved bodycon dress and a boyfriend style oversized cable knit cardigan. The cardigan casuals down the look a touch and although it’s day wear, we wanted to add a little something extra with one of our faux fur headbands and our knee high riding boots for a style with a touch of sophistication. Nice juxtaposition for you, chunky cardi meets sleek boots! Our other style of messenger bag is has a simpler look. This tan version was our fav for creating a preppier style. We love this plaid shift dress and when worn with our quilted buckle boots you have a day look that has that farmer chic vibe. To keep this look casual, we chose the oversized cable knit cardigan in burgundy this time to create some colour coordinated layering. Overall we think this outfit is perfect for a Sunday walk, even if it’s just round the shops… The same bag again, but this time in an all over black style. We thought this would look great with a girlish style. We don’t think girly has to be about all things pink and glittery though, you can feel feminine with your choice in shapes instead. Our monochrome floral shift dress is a great example of this and is totally versatile. Why not team with our waterfall cardigan for layering that’s sooo not boring. For footwear we choose some block heel gold plate boots which stop the look for being overly girly. Don’t want to loose your edgy side! Our last outfit revolves around our favourite pick from our furry handbags. With this bag, you can step away from day looks and try something that’s more fitting for the evening. Why not wear it with our Baroque pattern bodycon dress? When it comes to a dress with such a rich pattern, it’s best to work accessories that complement the colour pallet rather than contrast. The suede shine high heel courts are a great way to do this, tying in with the black bag. Pull together all the touches of gold with our gold triangle fan necklace for a look that will work at almost any event. What about your nails I hear you say? A touch of colour certainly won’t hurt here so why not try some of our false nails to give this look your own twist…? By Mhairi O'Neill @IKRUSH_Mhairi
