Why High Heels Are The Cure.
High heels are great. Whether it’s kitten heels, stilettos or wedges, there is no doubting that high heels can cheer us up. That’s why we are kick starting January with some high heel shoes to help you beat those post party season blues. There is no reason why you need to ditch the silver heels or other sparkly shoes come January. Just because the party season has come to an end, doesn’t mean you need to abandon all your beautiful high heels and stop partying.
Although one lady decided she would partying but ditch the shoes recently. We kind of fell even more in love with Emma Thompson when she waltzed on stage, martini in one hand, high heels in the other. Our kind of girl!
Emma Thompson. No shoes. Martini in hand. Emma Thompson is my spirit animal. #GoldenGlobes

Can we give Emma Thompson a golden globe just for throwing her shoes?

When it comes to footwear and individuality we are always put in mind of Footloose. Not only perfect for dancing to while you get ready but also another great pick me up song to get you through January.
High Heels and Footloose, the perfect combo for a girls night out right? The original 80’s music video is a must though right? 80’s at it’s best!
How To Style Your High Heels.
So, now comes the exciting bit. The bit where you get to think about more shopping than just you shoes. Head to toe style is essential when you want to make an impression (that teamed with your winning personality is a great combo) and here is the part where we show you how.
Our first outfit is for our favourite shoes. These faux suede spike platform heels are the perfect choice for a casual but party ready look. We work them with our favourite win coloured high waisted acid wash skinny jeans and turn the jeans up at the hem to highlight the high heels. To break the outfit up a bit and match in with the shoes, our wet look oversized top looks great either tucked in or worn loose. Why not accessorise with a bowler hat in wine to tie in with the jeans? We think that this outfit is perfect for a night out at the pub or a gig. You can glam this up a bit more with jewellery too!
This sounding a bit too casual for your tastes? If you a glamourous girl who wants to reign in the sparkle a bit now that the party season is over we have the perfect solution for you. Our textured pattern bodycon dress is a great casual option that you can bring to the glam side with some great accessories. Starting with the shoes, the gem embellished platform heels are a great way to bring a touch of shine to the outfit. We wanted a colour pop too and went for the diamante clutch bag in red to do this. You need a bit of jewellery when it comes this kind of party look and the black triangle gem necklace finishes of this club ready style perfectly.
Have you been tempted to try out the animal print trends but just can’t decide if it’s for you? The easiest way to work a scary trend is by starting with the little things. Such as the leopard print peep toe shoes which are a great choice for dressing up or down. These 4 pocket skinny jeans are great for a simple look, especially when worked with other great items. We love cream with leopard print and the split peplum top is a simple and chic way to a great outfit. Tie in the animal side with an animal print cuff bracelet for that extra trend touch. We love this outfit for a day with the girls or even a dinner date!
Animal print doesn’t just have to stick to your choice in clothes you know… Why not follow the lead of these Twitter users and get it on those nails too!

Next up we have a style option for the girls who love to be bold but want to work an LBD their own way. Our favourite style of little black dresses has to be the skater as they are so much more versatile. The cut out skater dress we have chosen is a great option for a night out. For that bold colour pop we couldn’t help but add some shine too with our glitter peep toe platform heels. Tie in the red with a great jacket such as the leatherette sleeve quilted blazer in bold red. Not only great for warmth but style too. Double win on your next night out to, well practically anywhere…
So which outfit is more you? Let us know on Facebook or Twitter! We love hearing from all our customers and fans!
