3 Christmas Jumpers You’ll Want To Wear Till Summer.

Christmas Jumpers Are All Around Us

So it’s almost time for Santa to pay us a visit! Who’s all hoping for lots of IKRUSH clothes under the tree? There is one thing that most people just can’t wait for this year though. Christmas jumpers are making it big in the UK this year and not just with the OTT Christmas fanatics in ugly Christmas sweaters either… The girls at the office have been getting in on the action too! Some of us showed off our Christmas jumpers and sweaters on Twitter in aid of Save the Children on Friday.     And some of the other girls got all our Facebook followers to vote for their fav! Number 3 was the winner but the Filthy Animal jumper came in at a close 2nd. We love this style. Not only is it actually pretty wearable but full of cheeky Christmas cheer too!     Christmas jumpers have been spotted on the Celebs too though. We loved Sam Faiers from TOWIE in one of the filthy animal jumpers. It can be pretty hard to pull off novelty Christmas jumpers but we think the normal clothes mix is the perfect way to do it. Here is our celebrity steal of the day.     The oversized Christmas jumper looked great when teamed with a thin parka jacket but we think that our IKRUSH hooded parka jacket is a much more sensible option for keeping cosy during the colder months. Why not swap up the red boots for our high shine quilted boots, giving an overall more wearable look?   She has certainly been quite the style guru on this one with plenty of fans sporting the same jumper. Here's one that we loved...       There has even been some pretty impressive world record attempts involving Christmas Jumpers. We love this video. And no, not just because of the reporter falling… Honestly.

Some IKRUSH Christmas Jumpers.

So what do IKRUSH have in store for you? We are pretty sad that we don’t do men’s clothes has we have had a few girls phoning up to see if we have any Christmas jumpers for men they can force their other halves to wear. Sadly though that is not the case, we do however have some great styles that you’ll wish you could wear all year round, not just at Christmas! We feel an excuse to have a Christmas themed party this summer…     Up first ladies we have the Christmas jumpers with an attitude problem. The previously mentioned oversized Christmas jumper doesn’t just come in red but black too. This means it’s all the more wearable as you have double the options to choose from. At only £9.99 you certainly won’t be breaking the banks either!     We also have something that combines the cheesy bit of Christmas jumpers with an on trend edge. This geometric Christmas jumper (only £14.99) has the essential ‘Christmas’ slogan but with a bold fairisle print and bright colours against a black background there is a nod to one of the trends. Geometric patterns were everywhere this season. One of our blogs, The Bodycon Dress- Geometric Fashion Frontier, showed how to get the trend not only in your party wear but everywhere else too.     Our last Christmas jumper has much more cheese to it but quite an interesting style. It may seem simple but the beauty of this jumper is that it’s actually a dress! We love that it’s long as it makes it an  extra cosy Christmas jumper for women. We’re getting more of these £14.99 oversized sweatshirts in other styles in so keep your eyes peeled!

How To Wear Your Christmas Jumpers

Now, here comes our favourite bit… how we wear our Christmas jumpers! Styling a Christmas jumper can be tricky, especially if you want to be pub ready. So for our 3 Christmas jumpers we have made 3 easy steps to simple style that can work almost anywhere (Balls and dances not recommended… Unless your brave and feeling like being a bit different!).     First up is the oversized Christmas jumper. Even if it says filthy animal on it, it doesn’t mean you need to look like one. We think that a simple velvet skater skirt can be a great way to style this jumper and give a cute vibe. Finish it off with the chunky sole cut out boots to give it a bit of an edge and your all set. This is our personal fav for the pub with you pals during the festive season. Who’s all going to work it on a night out this Christmas eve?     Our next jumper is the geometric Christmas jumper. This one doesn’t need much else to make it a great outfit. We even used it in one of our photo shoots, models fav! As far as womens Christmas jumpers go, this one pretty much has the edgiest vibe possible which is why we teamed it with our high waisted acid wash jeans in dark blue. Extra tip is to tuck the jumper in just at the bottom, (the ribbed bit) and wear it loose and baggy. Get a bit of height the carry you anywhere in our new block heel buckle heels.     Our last jumper is our top pick for family occasions. What a better way to keep the fam happy than by sporting a cheery Chrismas jumper to dinner this year. Don’t distract from these funny Christmas jumpers and work with some fleece lined leggings in black for extra cosy style and some simple lace up wedge boots.   We think the best way to do it though is to style as a team. Get all your friends or family to get some too and head out together. Nothing says Christmas better than walking around dressed a bit crazy (tinsel is a great accessory here) with all you favourite people.  If that isn't your cup of tea we have a bit of an inspirational story... One member of the IKRUSH team wore a Christmas jumper on a blind date last year for a dare. He loved it so much there was even a second. See! Christmas jumpers really are for any occasion.   So which jumper is your favourite? Let us know on Facebook or Twitter, if you already have yours, send us a pic!   By Mhairi O’Neill @IKRUSH_Mhairi
